we have two new playlists that Anna has created. One Soundcloud and one Spotify. Perhaps one (or both) of these could be used to have a little "radio station" on the site - something we weren't able to achieve with the current audio files.

We have a mixtape up that a DJ did for us - https://soundcloud.com/djagile/talkin-all-that-jazz-2015

And we also have a Spotify playlist up. It's just one right now but we'll be creating a second play list shortly. Just gotta find time to get the music lined up. https://embed.spotify.com/?uri=spotify%3Auser%3A%23tojazzfest2015%3Aplaylist%3A2jRkuDMbtn5OYfsWLJq2NY

Great. Where do you want them to appear on the site? They could go at the top of the audio page. Shall I put in an ebedded soundcloud player?

brianblain commented 9 years ago

OK at top of audio page. Try embedding soundcloud (there's only one file) but try to keep it compact

Check out http://torontojazz.com/audio Let me know if that is what you want.

soundcloud works. clicking on Snarky Puppy play takes me to my Spotify page (recently played items) ??

I'll investigate. On Jun 5, 2015 12:45 AM, "Brian Blain" notifications@github.com wrote:

I have checked the spotify documentation and there is really nothing more I can do. I am just putting an iframe around the code you sent me, so you have complete control over what shows, and I can't change it.

Until we get it sorted out, I have moved the spotify block to it's own page:

You should be able to edit this if you want to. If I click on it, it simply prompts me to install Spotify.
