The shadow under the screenshots is different from the previous versions of
sharexmod.
now its like this:
########
########
##+-----+
##| |
##| |
+-----+
before it was like this:
#########
#+-----+#
#| |#
#| |#
#+-----+#
#########
Is it possible to get back the old way of doing it? Or are there any parameters
that need to be set to configure the x, y, angle and fading?

I think he means the # signs represent the presence of shadow border.

flexy123, is this something you could explain? I remember you started using
fake shadows.

Is sharexmod was using greenshot library for make shadow? I don't remember how
it was before shadows in image editor but currently it using shadow like how
write.sal explained and it is fake shadow. Basically it drawing 1 pixel
rectangles in loop from black to gray so it looks like shadow.
