How best do we represent obstacles in our model? Constraints, or do we import geometry and instantiate them as obstacles.

Do 3D Field Issue first and see if that takes care of this question.

Changing the magnitude of the field vectors to be proportional to the sampled surface seems to be emphasizing the surface's effects on the birds. Seems like it will help take care of the obstacle problem.
