Summary of Changes
adds william roy and myself to authors
We do not need to keep the built files (aux, bbl, etc) under version control. It is best to only keep bib and tex files. The rest are created automatically from those. Keeping a versioned pdf file is fine, but also not necessary.
grammatical edits to intro and first paragraph. I hope they're not too massive.
adds acros file for handling acronyms
The book from ISRG needs to be cited. I have noted the collective work of
your colleagues in the introduction and the acknowledgements.
The motivation repeated the introduction. I have condensed them together.
The statement about the spatial requirements being less than yucca mountain
is not stated in the same way as what was said in the Brady report. The
statement as you had written it sounds like one borehole would suffice to
replace yucca mountain. That is incorrect. 600 boreholes, each having a 2km
disposal zone, are required, according to Brady. This requires a 30km^2
footprint if they are spaced 0.2 meters apart. This footprint is still
smaller than the footprint of yucca mountain, and that's what should be said,
but the way it was previously stated was incorrect.
'The cost of a borehole repository is signficantly less than a geological
one' has two problems. First, 'geological' describes both borehole and mined
repositories. The word intended here, I believe, is 'mined.' Next, there is
no citation for this and many reviews indicate that the debate is not yet
settled concerning cost. I am deleting this whole sentence.
Updates the bibliography
Adds an NRC figure of decommissioning site status
