advantages:

no need to require java to run jbang first
platform specific artifact which download stats can be used to see adoption per platform
can target one specific target java version for jbang (still think we would want it to be java8 to make it usable on as many existing javas as possible)

disadvantages:

download will be ~40-50 MB instead of ~5MB today
