I would be cautious about merging this as the Jakarta REST 4.0 API requires Java SE 17 as a minimum.

This dependency is only used in tests:

test-deployment/pom.xml:45:            <artifactId>jakarta.ws.rs-api</artifactId>

@jamezp If I merge this and drop support for Java 11 in the main branch, will it affect WildFly side?

JBeret needs to continue to support Java SE 11 for now, so keep this upgrade on hold.
