General error: Command: NAMESPACE; response: #3# [BAD, User is authenticated but not connected.] #1075

Expected behaviour

Backup finishes normally

Actual behaviour

Backup finishes with Error

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

Upgrade to Android 12 Uninstall Edison Mail and install K-9 Mail Do a Manual Backup

Please specify the following:

I don't know if this is due to the recent Android 12 upgrade or the switch from Edison Mail to K-9 Mail, but these were the last significant changes before SMS Backup+ stopped working properly.

  • Phone model / brand: Sony Xperia 5 II (XQ-AS72)
  • SMS Backup+ version installed: 1.5.11
  • Messaging app: Messages by Google (messages.android_20220221_01_RC02.phone_dynamic)

Seems to work fine after switching my email client (now using Microsoft Outlook).
