add docker-environment #1103

This is the same as #1079, but got closed there automatically, because your master seemed to have rebased/changed. This really got me fast up and running again, if you see no value in this just close, I'll keep it as single commit in my repo.

if you don't want this in the master the best may be to squash these 3 commits and just have a single commit you may apply with cherry-pick when needed. image

Then it seems you may close this new PR.
