Full Restore to new Galaxy S9 , only restores texts up through 2018 Apr - May timefame ?

Expected behaviour

Using SMS Backup+'s (with All set), start the Restore (with option set to ALL). All 20 months of texts are restored (today being 2018 December)

Actual behaviour

Only messages up through between 2018 April - May are restored from Gmail account. From a PC, I can physically see messages from 2018 - current reside on the backup Gmail account.

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

New phone:

• install Android Messages app
• install and SMS Backup+ app,

OR if above were already done wish to replicate the issue:

• manually remove all texts from Android Message
• clear storage for both Android Messages and SMS Backup+ apps,

THEN proceed with:

• configure Backup SMS+ to restore ALL (not 100 or 500) messages
• start the BackupRestore process.
• verify messages restored onto the S9. See that most recent months' worth of text messages were NOT successfully restored

Please specify the following:

• Android version 8.0.0
• Phone model / brand: Samsung Galaxy S9, Verizon version
• SMS Backup+ version installed - newest version, last updated Apr 22, 2018
• Messaging app - Android Messages

Had the same issue when moving to an S10. I got a number of older messages but it seems to stop at April 2018. Also, any pictures do not get restored.
