Delete An Item

As an admin, I want to be able to "delete" an item from stock.

Items can be marked in other fashions to ensure a more accurate history moving forward. With the nature of rental, these are ASSETS, so a thorough log of what is owned is essential for company valuation for insurance purposes.

• With an item, unless under exceptional circumstances it should not be deleted!

  • Using the Edit Item view, it should be possible to change an item's status to reflect this. Such as sold/scrap, this would theoretically remove it from the system as it would mean an order cannot be fulfilled with this item.

This has now been completed

• Deletion never truly happens. But an item can be marked to other ways such as scrap and missing.
