User Request (ITIL-based): make solution optional (on resolve) #8
Often steps are already put in Private Logs. You can also see a bit of the history of how solutions were found, or what is not a solution at all.
The formal Solution field does not add anything, since we often keep track of everything in the Private Log. Tickets are not closed right away in quite a few cases, to make sure the issue has effectively been resolved. Copy-pasting the solution does not add anything for us.
Without this adjustment, we just put - in the field.
