It may be a good idea to talk about goodness of fit test and the meaning of likelihood ratio (and/or ROC) in the regression course.
From my limited experience throughout workshops, many students are not familiar with the concept of how to interpret regression (not to mention that some students simply do not know anything about regression).
What to and what not to in data selection, imputation and computation. This is an issue that many students even some PIs are facing to everyday. So this may be a good topic to discuss.

I think most of the material will be "notebook" based, probably not slides, but everything on github
