Using cordova rather than phonegap #4

Hi, is there a cordova way of compiling the app? when i use cordova to do after when i add the platform for android. (cordova run android). i pass the apk to my phone and it doesnt work. When i use phonegap to act as a server it works. Meaning it needs a computer to on the phonegap server so the android app work.

I would like to have this for iOS too.
