11 years ago That will come with time, with tweets linking to the site, etc. We don't even rank for "octopus metrics." That just shows we're in a back-index for Google, and it doesn't find our site to be that important.

11 years ago Besides, we are doing ok for "Octopus: Biometrics" and "Octopus: EEG" searches.
We need to make sure to link to the site going forward, in FB and Twitter posts. But it will come naturally. No need to focus on SEO. I think the titles are fine, just needs more history. Google likes old things with a history of people linking to it or clicking the web result...

11 years ago i added meta tags and changed the titles to be better for google. will also add a sitemap, it's low hanging fruit.

11 years ago Yeah, like I said, I looked at HTML & looks solid. You got the right things in title, URL, etc.
Bigger fish to fry.
And we'll rank fine once we get publicity, writeup, etc.
