a piece of MotusDev/Motus-TO-DO#327

going forward:

[x] cron job to update metadata cache should email admin with any failures, warnings
[x] for unknown tag types, warn but set model to "unknown"
[x] add new tag type "unknown" with lifespan equal to the average of NTQB-2, NTQB-3-2; this is a guess as to what "NTQB2-5-1" might be.
