Issues with formatdb and blastall #6

Hello,

I am facing trouble on using MITE-Hunter. Problem being with formatdb and blastall. I know that they have been deprecated and BLAST+ package can be used as their replacement. However, I am not sure how to do that, nor could I not find any documentation as such online!

Can anyone help me understand this, and thus look into this?

Hi Sushmita,

I don’t support the software. I’m including Brad who wa the last person who could support it. I just hold the GitHub account.

You could try to install the legacy blast package. That should still be available at NCBI.
