I am working on someone else's project who uses a different code style. I'd
like to be able to right-click on a project and recursively convert all leading
tabs to spaces before committing, but now I have to remember to execute the
conversion on each file individually from an editor.

So what is the problem? File->Convert Tabs<->Spaces :-)

I didn't think to look under the File menu; I always just use the right-click!
That will do the trick, though having it on the right-click would still make it
more discoverable.

In one of the issues I was kindly asked not to pollute "project" menu with any
AnyEdit entries...
Closing as invalid (functionality available).

Andrey
