Trouble with certain RSS feeds #108

Which plugin is the bug/enhancement related to ?

Custom Clock App/Plugin/Helper

What version of SlimServer/SqueezeCeneter are you using? On what operating
system?

7.5.3 Ubuntu Linux

Could you describe the problem or enhancment ?

Plugin has difficulty parsing many RSS feeds, which are not problematic with 
the RSS News Ticker Plugin.

For example:

It seems to parse these feeds:

http://rss.news.yahoo.com/rss/business
http://rss.slashdot.org/Slashdot/slashdot

But cannot parse these feeds:

http://online.wsj.com/xml/rss/3_7011.xml
http://news.com.com/2547-1_3-0-5.xml

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.  Set up rsstext item to use a feed, no text appears on the feeds it can't 
parse
