After performing seaborn examples and berating them for making bad legends, reward the user with sns.puppyplot()
The Use plot instead of scatter section repeats the line ax3.set_title('plot (smaller markers)') instead of setting it for ax4.set_title('plot (smaller markers, with alpha)')
I'm actually not sure of ax4's purpose; is it just to show alpha?
What about plotting examples using a pandas, vs arrays? df.plot(kind='...')
Are the plots closer to the end intended to be more of a gallery and less about edification? Could use some more comments on them, such as the purpose of showing the linear and quadratic trends, when to use a particular colormap, explicit suggestion for which histogram to use, etc.
A few small suggestions:
sns.puppyplot()
ax3.set_title('plot (smaller markers)')
instead of setting it forax4.set_title('plot (smaller markers, with alpha)')
df.plot(kind='...')
