Bandwith alert is too intrusive #479

Hello

I have a problem with the bandwith alert message pop up (when user look at
the shared screen or when moderator share is own screen)

The alert is very too intrusiv, come back if we close it, and realert again
if not.

In fact the quality result of the shared screen is good for us (except a
problem with too long refresh delay, is it possible to configure that ?!)
but sometime a frame is dropped : it is *not* dramatic and we prefer to
have an alert less intrusiv than the actual one (perhaps in chat ?!). The
real annoyance is caused by the pop up alert hitself, not the dropped frame
so can you remove the pop-up ?

Cheers,

Loic

Hey Sebastian !

I see that .5.2 has a little bit changed the behaviour for this stuff, I really
appreciate that.

However there is still a temporary pop up with a confusing "error" message that
the
user get sometimes. Dont know if it is related to a frame being dropped ?!

It is not as intrusiv than the old way because it's disappear itself but i
think that
is still confusing for the user who do not understand what is the problem.

Can't we just remove this king of message ?

Loic

PS : I see that you have add an entry to support a flashlight vnc plugin.

Perhaps it is a great idea to use this to add better user experience of screen
sharing, i will look at http://sourceforge.net/projects/vnc-reflector/ and
http://vncproxy.sourceforge.net/ if one of this project can help to stream a vnc
capture for multiple clients.

sure if you find something to stream VNC would be great to add as option,
but I think we need to wait till we can shift openmeetings to OpenLaszlo 4.2.x
and
SWF9 as output format. SWF9 means we can use ActionsScript3 and I think the
swf-clients for VNC all need AS3 features/FlashPlayer version
