Matlab Crashes at the end of 64 bit installation

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.follow the installation instructions
2.the line Solution('nasa_gas.cti') crashes Matlab
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
An error message is supposed to appear, although the cantera files are supposed 
to be accessible after that.  Instead, Matlab shuts down and reports something 
about a "segmentation violation" and something about a "mex" file.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows 7 64 bit, Python 2.6.6 (x86 64 bit), Cantera 1.8 64 bit

Please provide any additional information below.

Unless someone can confirm that this bug still exists in 2.0, I'm going to 
assume that this bug was fixed by the changes made to the C-interface error 
handling.
