Windows installation of the Cantera Python module crahes #62

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.First time installation of Cantera on PC running windows 7
2.After installation of Python, Numpy, and Cantera, I run the 
Cantera-1.8.0.win32-py2.6 installer, and then the insatll freezes up and 
crashes.
3. the error window just states that a problem has occured, but give not 
indication of the issue is.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expectation is the complete installation of the Python module, but installation 
crashes.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Cantera 1.8.0 on Windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.

This should be implicitly resolved by the transition to the SCons-based build 
system.
