What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. trying to install Canter with Python 2.7

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the installation of Canter. Installation aborted.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.8, Windows 7

When Cantera 2.0 is released, installers for Python 2.6 and 2.7 will be 
provided.
