120grams cream cheese (I used kraft cheddar spread)
1 cup thickened cream
750grams potatoes diced & peeled
230 grams grated white cheddar cheese
1 tsp salt
2 tsp black pepper
1/3 finely diced onion
Tiny tiny pinch of garlic (optional)
4 slices thick cut bacon, precooked and crumbled
100grams grated mild cheddar cheese
Chopped chives
Method
Melt butter in slow cooker once melted add the flour and whisk into a dough then throw everything else in slow cooker except the grated cheese, chives & bacon and cook on high for about 5-6hours till potato is mushy.
