I fitted a Hue strip light around the edge of my desk with hot glue six months back or so. I half expected this to happen but the lights became unstuck in a few places. I decided to remove it, clean the glue away and secure it with screw cable clips. I have a sit-stand and it is important to me that I can't see the light strip or fitting when the desk is at it's lowest height. The LEDs on the Hue strip are approx 5 1/2cm - 6cm apart.
