Hardware: Aqara Zigbee Button #72

Xiaomi Aqara Smart Wireless Button

Standard pairing through the pinhole at the back for 5-10 seconds. Paired in deCONZ in the switch section. After renaming the entity in Home Assistant the deCONZ event still shows the entity as the original device name i.e. switch192. After pairing the device a second time in deCONZ the entity is shown with the correct name listed in the event.

These were purchased off eBay and weren't the ones I was expected. They work well and are fast to respond however they do feel very cheap and plastic, unlike the solid Aqara sensors I have previously ordered. I will try to track down the Aqara buttons I originally wanted.

Not off to a great start with then. Both these buttons reverted to their original stock name so the automation stopped working. Not sure if it was the buttons or deCONZ but I had to repair them and restart Home Assistant for the event ID to register with the names I provided.

Haven't had any more issues with these units since the previous problem. I do however prefer the quality of the Aqara button #84 and will use these from now on.
