Professional application using Seaglass highlights missing features #56

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start Netbeans with --laf flag. Example
netbeans.exe --cp:p
C:\DEV\3rdppr\seaglass\target\seaglasslookandfeel-0.1.7.4-SNAPSHOT.jar --laf
com.seaglasslookandfeel.SeaGlassLookAndFeel

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected the application to look professionally with well picked range of
colors. Instead you see a badly contrasted colors and unprofessional pixel
artifacts around inner borders, text not visible etc.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? What
JRE version?
Latest Seaglass revision 1571.
Netbeans 6.9
Java 1.6.0_20-ea; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 17.0-b12
Windows Xp

This is just a overall notice of the state of Seaglass LnF under such
application like Netbeans.
As we can see from the screenshot, this project has a long way to go.
I look forward to a day when this project will rival Nimbus.

You're right, it looks terrible.

Did not test it with Netbeans as that one has a lot of self made components in
it.
I tested it with some other applications and they look quite well.

As this is a very old issue and not very specific I close it now.
