Notification if gps fails can not be turned off #239

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start tracking
2. Walk under a tunnel or any otger action that will make you loose gps signal.
Result: the alarm sound start ringing and you have to pull down the
notifications list get it to stop ringing and irritating me.

Expected a line in a log file or some silent notification because there is no
solution to the problem, there is no user interaction needed except for having
to silence the alarm bells.

Which Android device are you using?
Galaxy S
What version of Android are you running?
2.2.2

What version of the Open GPS Tracker are you running?
Latest from andriod market.

I second that! The notification is extremely annoying and there is no way to
turn it off, even temporarily.

Just read the FAQ... "disable the Monitor GPS Status in the Settings".

Can be turned off, and is not off by default after install.
