After downloading and extracting the zip, the following error is shown when trying to open i18n-editor.app:

The application “i18n-editor” can’t be opened.

No further error info is given. Running macOS Catalina 10.15.5 and Java 8 update 251.

@mdsviola using the .jar worked for me.
