Good question. So far I didn't think about it. Currently, I'm just using it as a standalone script. It should be no problem to wrap it in a Debian package just for the sake of treating it like all the other software. If you want to integrate it some, please feel free to do so.
i plan to add dex to archlinux. I wait the next release with -e, empty desktop files (and hopefully fixed support of %u).
You will release soon?
Version 0.4 is ready and tagged.

Downloads are now available at http://e-jc.de/dex/ or http://jceb.github.com/dex/. I'll work on the manpage issue #10 seperately.
Hi,
I'm just starting to use dex for awesome. It would be wonderful, if dex would somehow be available in a Debian package, but it may not warrant a package of its own. Do you have an idea, where dex could fit into?
Thank you for dex!
