Google's New Polices for Connecting Gmail to Other Apps
As part of a security effort, Google is changing how consumer Gmail users can
connect apps to their account. As a result, Zaps using consumer Gmail accounts
(those ending with@gmail.com or @googlemail.com) will be affected starting on
May 15, 2019.
Since you use a consumer Gmail account to send data to other apps, you will be
required to update your Zaps.
What to Expect
As a result of these changes, Google is restricting which apps may receive
data from consumer Gmail accounts and requires a review of each app on Zapier
that's integrated with Gmail.
We've been able to review 30+ apps so far, which are now considered
Google-approved apps. We will continue to work with Google to review apps in
order of popularity.
What Happens on May 15, 2019?
On May 15, 2019, Gmail will no longer allow apps to receive data from consumer
Gmail accounts unless they are a Google-approved app.
Zaps that send data from Gmail to an app that isn't yet Google-approved will
stop working and you'll need to find an alternative, Google-approved app for
your Zap.
We apologize for the inconvenience this update brings. We're working with
Google to grow support for more Gmail integrations in the future.

Google's new policies restrict which apps can connect to Gmail. Please update your Zaps to avoid interruptions.
