As a user, I want to clearly distinguish each work. Visually, having each work as a card will be a clear improvement. I would also want to see the two hover options (link to work single and link to image gallery) appear as soon as I hover the card. It would be also nice to have a small transition on hover (maybe a scale transform => scale(1.05))
