Ultrasonic sensor does not work

I have the PWM DC5V Ultrasonic ranging sensor ultrasonic waterproof distance sensor waterproof probe RS485. It produces constant output between PWM and GND. It suggests it is likely relying on RS485 communication, which requires a RS485 to TTL converter module.

I might get another probe, such as the DYP-A02YY Waterproof sensor. Links
