hanging at startup #6

also hangs if I forget to add/select a group before Login.

when caused by failing to select group, this shows in console: http://local.myturn.old/favicon.ico Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)   ​

if a session is aborted, and reloading comes up with group and name pre-entered, clicking Join gives "User already exists" message and spinner, hanging.

these issues will be fixed by the redesign in jcomeauictx/myturn. workaround meanwhile is to reload page.
