Hello @jcoughlin11 Sorry to disturb you. May I ask for the simulation boxes used in arxiv 1812. 03217 (Probing Time-dependent Dark Energy with the Flux Power Spectrum of the Lyα Forest) are available?

Thank you, Shuo

Hello! Sorry for the delayed response! Are you asking for the simulation snapshots? Did you want every model and every redshift or just certain snapshots?

yuanshuoastro commented 4 months ago

Hello @jcoughlin11, Good to hear from you. If possible, I would like to have access to the snapshots for all the models and redshifts. Thank you,

(Sorry for that I do not have your email. My email is: yuanshuoastroatgmail.com)

No worries! The only issue is that the data are quite large. There are five simulations, each with several snapshots. Each snapshot is on the order of tens of gigs, so I'm not sure how you would prefer that data be shared?

Hello @jcoughlin11 , I think wget or ssh-copy or etc. are ok for me. And some data transfer tools like globus[https://www.globus.org/] might be helpful.

I decide to store the files on NERSC[https://www.nersc.gov/] under my account, and NERSC also support globus end-points, which makes the transferring be efficient between globus-supported sites.

I also read your works relate on the simulations, My rough estimation of the total size of snapshots may about <=8 TB, and it would be great if the Lyman forest sightlines can be shared as well :)

Thank you, Shuo
