cabal-install-1.18 is used with GHC-7.6.3 to fix an issue where ghc couldn't find the hspec-discover executable (https://travis-ci.org/sjakobi/newtype-generics/jobs/168748189).

Also shorten the synopsis to satisfy cabal check and add Travis and Hackage badges to readme.
