2 years ago Dear @bionade24, thanks for your suggestion. I have added your request to the TODO list. As a transient workaround, you can select the key binding by pressing "Ctrl+," and selecting it in the menu. Notice that this selection is required for each file you open and if forgotten when closed. The current options are:

This would allow people fluent in vim to work much faster it. Probably the vim bindings from https://github.com/codemirror/codemirror or Jupyter could be re-used with small modifications. I open to make a PR for it, just want to know if you have some requirements.
