1 year ago Hi, the thing with windows machine is that you will not be able to connect. I recommend using Laravel Homestead (https://laravel.com/docs/10.x/homestead#first-steps), where you can and should install freetds package and like the song says "everything is going to be all right"

Can't Connect to sybase 17 using laravel 10 and php 8.2
Hi, i just installed laravel 10x on a windows machine and i'm trying to connect to sysbase 17 but keep getting the following error "SQLSTATE[08001]: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver 18 for SQL Server]Client unable to establish connection because an error was encountered during handshakes before login. Common causes include client attempting to connect to an unsupported version of SQL Server, server too busy to accept new connections or a resource limitation (memory or maximum allowed connections) on the server."
I have to manually installed php_sqlsrv on my xampp, because by default is not in the php ext folder and you use sql server driver and i tried to define an odbc connection but it does not work either. Please can you help me.
