I have implemented on my blog. The best part is now we have to just provide the link of github issue url and not the credentials. To fetch the contents of issues is more easy now as explained here also.

So does someone have to have a GitHub account to comment? Not a huge deal, but might be a slight deterrent.

Hi,
There is trick to avoid this. You could check for the existence of user, if its not you could post his comment under your id with his name.

This is a beautiful solution to the problem. Thanks for sharing. I am planning to use it for my blog. I am new to blogging, but wanted to have more control, instead of platform-controlled solutions like dev.to or medium. Utterances solved the big question mark I had in mind around comments, while for considering GitHub Pages. Thank you!
