Problems with differents games like DeBlob that demand any dvd in wii-disk-player to play #212

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?

- There are only one step, with any version of Cover-Flow-Loader is not
posible play games like DeBlob without insert any dvd in wii-disk-player.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

- The last Hermes (uLoader v1.9) and waninkoko usb-loaders has solve this
problems. I suggest get in touch with them to improve it in Cover-Flow-Loader.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

- Cover-flow RC6 and "Debian Fenny XFCE"

Please provide any additional information below.

- Thanks in advanced.

Probably we will add support for new CIOS after 1.0 release.
Thanks for pointing this out.

CIOS 13b fixes the issue with DeBlob and other 002 errors.

For USB Loaders to work with V13 without giving 002 errors only one minor
change is
needed. See the post by waninkoko here:

Our loader works fine with cIOS 38 Rev 13 and 13b and that fixes this issue. I
don't
think there is a need to add support for Hermes cIOS any more.

really we support that? How can I verify it really work? (I mean a game that
doesn't
work with rev10 but work with rev13b)

just try anno or boom bloxx party, the new one.

it gave me an 002 error and a nice bluescreen ^^ (yeah windows times °°)
and after installing cios 13b an the loader it run smooth like a charme, with
no
problems.

I've got deBlob & Metroid Prime 3 and they both work fine with rev13b and our
loader.
MP3 always used to need a disk in for it to boot before...

I've had no problems testing with the new cIOS

13b should not be used, it breaks a whole bunch of new games, the most recent of
which are Ghostbusters, and Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings. 13 had a fix
for
these, but people were complaining that loaders had to be updated to work with
13, so
13b removed this fix.

I seem to remember this loader already being updated with the correct change
for this
(since the change doesn't effect earlier cIOS versions).

Got a question, if I have cIOS rev13a installed and I get Error# 002 in SD/USB
Loader
1.5 and I get a black screen in RC6, will that same game work in RC7 using cIOS
rev13a? or will I need cIOS rev13b to play that game from my backup? (I'm too
lazy to
get up and swap out discs if I don't have to)

Thanks

disk check is now patched in the loader

I am running 1.2a with the newest revision 1006. Almost all of my games run,
but "da
Blob" just gives me a black screen with "Loading" on the bottom.
I have tried with a disk in or out and nothing..

I have Metroid trilogy and selecting image from disk, I can run all three
versions
so I know I am patched correctly. I can play RB and GH5 so I know Hermes is
installed correctly. I have ghostbusters running great.

I have tried ripping directly from the disk using coverfloader and adding the
ISO
scrubbed and normal through WBFS manager and WBFS intellkigent GUI. Still
get "loading" only.
