Silent failure to launch sketch with a slow Internet #204

I'm hope I'm not crazy and that someone can reproduce this. When on a bad Internet connection (like while phone tethering) Python Mode (3030 and maybe earlier) will not launch the sketch window. Turning Wi-Fi off makes it work. Java Mode is working fine. Mac OS 10.11.6.

It does not shock me. In fact, in 3031, released a while ago, I happened to do some work to address this sort of thing. Uninstall and reinstall Python Mode, and you'll get 3032. Let me know if it seems to help.
