It happened to me too. My processing version is 3.3.7. I also tried to install processing.py on version 3.4 and just got another error message: 'Error during download and install of Python Mode for Processing 3'.
Hi @TitusHora and @RishYang !
There is a known issue with the IDE not able to download from some URLs, and a workaround described here: https://github.com/jdf/processing.py/issues/299
Thank you.

Hello Jonathan,
I have tried to upgrade my Python Mode for Processing 3 to version 3040, and I get this error message: 'Could not find a mode in the downloaded file.'
I don't have the Python mode now with Processing which is upsetting because my sketches are built with Python.
Is there a solution to this problem?
Thank you for your time.
