Learning Emacs as A Nvimmer in One Day - jdhao's blog

I have been using Neovim for over three years and I have been constantly hearing the greatness of its rival editor Emacs. So today I am gonna to try it and see if it is truly great. Edit: My final Emacs conf is here.

hi, I'm also trying to jump from nvim to emacs in order to try the orgmode and your article is very helpful. Thank you. I got stuck on the modeline step. I found out that I had to install all-the-icons package with straight.el in order to "unlock" all-the-icons-install-fonts. Well, it's written in the doom-modeline installation steps but since it does not appear in your article, it was confusing.
