Add support for monolingual definitions of cards #43

Open telotortium opened 5 years ago

Once my studies advance a little more, I'd like to have the option to review certain cards with monolingual definitions (i.e., definitions in Chinese). Ideally, there exists a monolingual dictionary like CEDICT whose definitions we can use. I've already found http://www.zdic.net/z/, which seems to have a CC-Noncommercial license - perhaps that could be used.

Good suggestion. When I finally get around to rewriting the dictionary importer, I'll try to add this.

I'll leave this ticket open as a reminder.

This feature would be great, for traditional character, I would suggest adding definitions from the https://www.moedict.tw/ or the free version of the dictionary used by pleco.

Assuming I don't drop off the face of the Earth, this feature will definitely happen. It's just a matter of working through the bugs before starting on the features.

Hi Joseph, are you back on Earth yet? Let me know if I can help contribute, I'm a newbie coder though so I may just need a few pointers on where to start. As you may have seen from my latest PR, it's not clean at all.

Hi Phil,

I should have some time in the next few days. Thanks for your efforts.
