Have github style the readme much nicer. If it lgty, I'll take a stab at the other .txt files as well.

Thanks for converting the Readme! I'd be glad to merge adc7d51, could you please remove the unrelated second commit 0f4efc8? I'd like to credit you in the readme with this conversion, what name would you like me to use there?

Hi Jeremy! My name is Ruud Poutsma. I created a new pull request with one other commit to markdownify VERSIONS.txt to Versions.md as well. I hope that works better for you. Consider this PR deprecated.
