I'm planning on building my own fixed sitting/standing desk with Ikea parts:

Base level: Linnmon - 78 3/4″ × 23 5/8″ 802.511.41 – $45
Base legs: Adils 702.179.73 – $3.50×4 = $15
Optional adjustable base legs: Olov - 23 5/8″-35 3/8″ 102.643.02 – $15×4 = $60
Base support: Alex -101.928.24 or Klimpen 202.777.85 – $70/$80
Upper deck: Linnmon - 47.5″ × 23 5/8″ 602.511.37 – $16
Optional larger upper deck: Linnmon - 59″ × 29 1/2″ 202.511.39 – $26 (replace 2 Sektion legs with 2 Olov legs for overhang)
Upper supports: Billy Height Extension - 14″ 902.638.60 – $15×2 = $30
Monitor stand: Alex - 47 1/4″ × 3 7/8″ 202.607.18 – $40×2 = $80

Total comes to <$280 for smaller config; <$300 for optional larger config

Once I finish it, I'll add a photo. Any great DIY sitting/standing desk ideas you've used / seen?

So the Sektion legs didn't work for my upper deck. Giving this Billy shelf extension a try next. Bonus: extra shelving
