Always receive 500. error when anyone registers #80

When I navigate to /first/register

it shows Server error accessing the course /first. HTTP status code: 500.

Is there something missing in my deployment?

I've enabled registering for new users and followed The wiki steps at they are 
but with no luck.

Hope Anybody can help.
