8 years ago I was not having good luck finding a shell based version of redo which is why I started this. I don't like having dependencies on other languages for redo since that seems to defeat the purpose of simplicity, especially if you are targeting all systems (which include busybox based systems). I'll have to take a look at your implementation, and if its what I'm looking for I'll probably drop this version and contribute to yours.
