When logged in, Profile > Tools > Gear Needed shows you how many characters need each type of gear so you can focus gear farming, but it could be better. What I'd like is a Gear Bottleneck tool. Suppose I have 300x of some type of gear, but I can't equip them on any characters because other gear is needed to craft the top piece needed by each character. I'd like some kind of report which would show me where collecting a small amount of gear X would let me equip my large collection of gear Y.
