A lot of mobs spawn in a horde and have a really large performance impact

Same issue here, 1.16.5

This is usually caused by some other mod misinteracting with MCMT, known mods that cause this currently are Performant

Please check your logs; feel free to drop them here and I'll try to diagnose it
